Priyanka Handa Ram
Founder of Learn To Play, Priyanka Handa Ram was born and raised in Botswana and has used her 10 years of experience doing a multitude of social enterprise projects to create a more literate, happy and healthy childhood for the clients she works with.
Priyanka is passionate about Play, Nature and Literacy and incorporates these in her work as well as in her role as a published children’s author; writing stories about adventure, virtues and conservation. Early Childhood and Literacy Education are Priyanka’s primary focus and she is the founder/director of 5 Early Childhood organisations in Botswana, including Learn To Play, which serves vulnerable women and children across Botswana through early childhood playgroups in disadvantaged communities.
Priyanka has an undergraduate degree in English Language and Communication from King’s College London and an MSc in Social and Public Communication from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She further trained to acquire a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Oxford. Recently, she was awarded with an award entitled Change Maker of Botswana for her work in Education. Priyanka is also a Global Leader in Early Childhood through the World Forum, and has been an invited speaker at the Africa Early Childhood Network Conference in Kenya, Africa Play in South Africa and at the upcoming World Forum for Early Childhood Care and Education, in Macao.email@example.com
